The organizer of Miss Gabon 2012, Defis de femmes, has acquired the Miss Universe franchise and will be sending Gabon's first ever representative Marie-Nöelle Ada Meyo to Miss Universe 2012.
Marie-Nöelle Ada Meyo was crowned Miss Gabon 2012. She will represent Gabon in Miss Universe 2012. The current Miss Universe Leila Lopes from Angola will crown her successor at the end of the event.
